R. Elmer MacDonald Scholarship

Beginning in the fall of 2025, the PEI Department of Agriculture will be funding the R. Elmer MacDonald Scholarship, which will provide financial assistance for PEI residents who are enrolled in eligible undergraduate agricultural programs at the Dalhousie University's Faculty of Agriculture in Truro, Nova Scotia.

George Coles Bursary

The Province of Prince Edward Island is dedicated to assisting students with the high cost of a post-secondary education. The George Coles Bursary (GCB) is a non-repayable bursary for Island students with post-secondary expenses like tuition, books, administrative fees, living expenses, etc. This non-needs-based bursary is automatically awarded to eligible students who attend PEI’s publicly funded post-secondary institutions, which are the University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College, and Collège de l'Île.

If you’re a high school or post-secondary student under 30, you could earn a bursary and gain valuable experience in some of PEI’s key industries this summer by taking a seasonal job in Seafood Processing, Agriculture or Aquaculture!
